I’m a massage addict. I must have visited every spa and massage parlor within a 30 kilometer radius from my house. My work is very stressful and I can feel my muscles tensing and bunching up. I always tell myself that my weekly massage session is my reward for a job well done in the office. I don’t even know how much I pay my credit card for my massage treatments monthly.
The thing with trying different spas and massage parlors is the quality of the massage is inconsistent. Sometimes I feel totally relaxed and rejuvenated while there are moments when I feel that the money I paid is not worth it. And getting a massage is never cheap, especially if you are looking for a comfortable and clean place.
Another problem is I really need a very good massage therapist because I have a chronic back pain problem. I give detailed instructions and tell them to be careful with my lower back area because I don’t want to aggravate the situation. Not all therapists give me exactly what I am looking for in a massage.
A friend (who also happens to be a spa addict) told me that she now limits her spa and massage parlor visits because she found a more effective and cost efficient way to relax and relieve her chronic pains. She bought a FIRheat therapy wrap for her upper back and shoulders. She said there’s one for the lower back and it should do wonders for my chronic back pain.
I was wary because I’m a little traditional so I didn’t buy immediately and decided to read all about it online. Apparently Far Infrared Rays work better than traditional heat because it penetrates deeper in the body so it effectively improves blood circulation that eases pain and speeds up healing. I checked out the price and found out that it’s not very expensive. It seems to be a good investment so I went for it.
My FIRheat back wrap is now my constant companion. Instead of my weekly spa treatments, I use my therapy wrap every day and it sure feels better than going for a massage because the relief it offers is consistent and reliable. It’s like getting a massage (only better) within the comforts of my own home.
