Spending a relaxing evening at home with just my Heated Seat Cushion

With old age comes boredom. That’s right, boredom. Sometimes by choice, sometimes by default, evenings can become very boring, uneventful and all-in-all, very unpleasant as you starts to age. But that’s just the snobby old man in me talking. After living a very tiring lifestyle for so long, these quiet nights with my heated seat cushion are actually a welcome escape in isolation and meditation.

And that’s what old people like me, needs. With our aching joints, muscles, and, virtually, all body parts, some well deserved quiet nights is always nice. And thanks to the special hi-tech heating inside the heated seat cushions, I can relax all night, often falling asleep because of the nice, nice, warmth.

At first, I was expecting something bulky and pointy when my son gave this to me. Where would the heating come from? Was it supposed to be this light? Can I use it overnight or should I turn it off after ten minutes? As an old guy with very minimal techie knowhow, I had so many questions but my son assured me that once I use it, all my answers would be answered. And were they answered!

Often, I fall asleep as I am seating on my seat cushion, it’s too comfy not to make you feel so relaxed and sleepy. That’s why my old woman always finds me on my favorite seat snoring away to my poor old heart’s content.

Watching New York Giants with My Heated Seat

I, myself is an avid football lover. Although I do not play it but I don’t miss watching it. My favorite team is New York Giants. Yes, I admit. I’m from New York so they’re my favorite. But I also watch the games of other teams.

Whenever I watch their game, I spend hours there waiting and hoping they’ll win. Cross-fingers. I bring my snacks and a mantle for me to sit on. I don’t want to sit on the cold bench. It makes me feel really uneasy. Just imagine how it feels sitting on a block of ice. Well, it’s just an exaggeration but it’s what comes to my mind when I go there. I usually go there as early as possible to get the best seat and then I’ll wait till it starts or should I stay from start to finish.

Just in one game, my hubby brought me a cushion. He may have noticed my subtle complaints about my back. Although I myself do not notice it because my full attention is at the game. When I sat on it, it gives me a lot comfort unlike when I’m sitting on my mantle. This one’s much softer and warmer since it’s a heated seat. I enjoyed the game a lot. From that time, I make sure I have my cushion with me before I go to the game.

Then I noticed that I do not complain much of my back aches. It also keeps me warm when the weather is chilling. I really love when I’m sitting over it. It’s like watching the live NFL game in my home at my couch.
Thanks to my hubby who gave me that cushion. It is really a valuable gift.

Heated Jackets for outdoor fun

I was going through boxes upon boxes of old photographs the other day and I saw this really goofy photo of me and my old man hunting back in Minnesota. It was so funny. We had really silly outfits. Not because we wanted to look silly but just because we had to wear tons of layers of clothes just to keep warm. I remember I couldn’t even move. My old man and I were laughing so hard we almost fell down and couldn’t get up. Literally!

Thank God I discovered the glorious world of Heated Jackets! Yeah, I know it sounds redundant. Heated Jackets. I mean, what are jackets supposed to do but keep us heated, right? But seriously, these heated jackets are the best thing to happen to outdoorsmen like me. Wish I learned about it earlier. Hunting Tip #5 – The Heated Vest

Last week, if some of you, readers, remember, I shot my first mighty buck. Yes, sir, my first wild buck. And if you also remember, I said that I had a secret weapon for catching that buck and that I would share my secret weapon for all you wilderness loving guys reading this blog right now.

See, my secret weapon is not a weapon per se. It is not a new type of gun or a hi-tech bullet which makes things easier for both expert and amateur hunters alike. No. For you see, the best weapon any expert outdoorsman can still wield is his body and his own skills. But, of course, sometimes we need a little help too. And that goes double during winter time when weather is extremely erratic and you won’t know how cold the night can get until it gets there.

And that is precisely the same reason why I bought for myself a heated vest. As a seasoned hunter, camper and, in general, a lover of all things outdoors, I know how tough it can get. The weather can be relentless for beginners who don’t know the secrets of layering clothes and keeping heated. But then again, layering can also hinder movement which could prevent you from making your first big catch.

With the heated vest, however, you can virtually forget about layering and go about your hunting expedition without much of a fuss regarding the dropping temperature surrounding you. Heated Gloves vs. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Recently, my son, who’s 14 years old and a rabid gamer (as they do like to call themselves), was busy tapping away on his Xbox 360 controller when he had a run-in with good ol’ Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). As a parent, of course, I felt the need to find something to help him fight off the pain. It was then that I discovered this ingenious thing they call Heated Gloves.
